About Nepal Kempo Khukuri Federation
The Nepal Kempo Khukuri Federation is the honoured guardian of the traditional art of Kempo in Nepal. With a history deeply rooted in our cultural heritage, we are a dedicated organization of practitioners, officially registered under the Nepal Sports Council and our respective Province Sports Council. This formal recognition affirms our commitment to upholding national sporting standards and promoting discipline through martial arts.
We operate with the esteemed guidance and recognition of both the International Kempo Federation and the International Chinese Kempo Federation. This dual affiliation connects our local practice to a global community, allowing us to share knowledge, participate in international events, and bring honour to our nation through competition and cultural exchange.
Our mission extends beyond physical training. We strive to preserve and promote the profound legacy of Kempo—a discipline that cultivates respect, self-defence, and inner strength. A unique aspect of our practice is the integration of the Khukuri, the legendary blade of the Gorkha warriors. This connection allows us to honour our ancestors and showcase Nepal’s rich martial heritage to the world.
As a registered national sports body, we are committed to structured development. We provide systematic training, organize championships, and foster talent across the provinces. Our teachings emphasize the core values of discipline, perseverance, and respect, shaping not only skilled martial artists but also responsible individuals.

PAVEL KUMAR SHAH
Allow me to introduce Mr. Pavel Kumar Shah, a distinguished individual who has made significant contributions in various fields. He is founder member & holds the position of President at the Nepal Kempo Khukuri Federation, showcasing his dedication to promoting and advancing the sport.
Mr. Shah also holds the honor of being the first international referee from Nepal, affiliated with the prestigious International Kempo Federation (IKF). This recognition highlights his expertise and skills in the field.
Furthermore, Mr. Pavel Kumar Shah is an accomplished 5th DAN player, demonstrating his commitment to excellence in his sport. He serves as an inspiration to the youth, motivating them to pursue their passions and achieve their goals.
Apart from his sporting achievements, Mr. Shah is a successful entrepreneur and businessman. His entrepreneurial ventures reflect his drive and determination to succeed in various avenues, making a positive impact in the business world.
